Returning is a women-only event during the day, we are creating a sacred container for our sisters and recognise the powerful support women can be for one another. This day event is about sharing womens business, about opening fully to one another and exploring all things womanhood.
What about trans / non-binary people?
Recognising that, as a society, our understanding of gender is evolving and expanding, Returning welcomes anyone who identifies as a woman.
This includes cisgendered, trans and non-binary women.
We use gendered language and pronouns in our communications, reflecting our identity as a women-only space. If you identify as a woman, but prefer non-gendered pronouns, please feel free to let us know and we will seek to use your preferred terminology.
We are continuously learning, and we are open to ongoing, respectful conversation around our approach.
We recognise that some non-binary and trans people may not feel comfortable in a gender-specific space. Indeed, neither do some cis-gendered people. As such, Returning might just not be the best fit for everyone.
Fundamentally we are just trying to bring about a day of joy and exploration to reach our highest potential as individuals and the collective.
We are here to listen and learn and if you have any suggestions or wish to reach out please, we are all still learning and growing together.
Our Environmental Footprint
Practicing a Leave No Trace Ethic is simple: leave the place you visit the same or better than you found it; leave no trace of your having been there. A practice of co-existing, creating and not destroying.
